The Drug Trade
Three drugs, each a full visual experience. They warp the screen in escalating intensity, from a gentle psychedelic to a fractal ego-death — a fantasy toy box, with no relationship to anything real.
Banka — the gentle trip
A mellow psychedelic that eases in and out over a few minutes: the world warms and saturates, the view breathes and sways, light pulses at the edges, and the odd impossible thing — a flying sheep, a wandering pigman — drifts past while everything trails softly behind you.
Roop — the harder hit
A stronger ride, and not always a kind one. Most trips are a rush — but every so often it sours into a bad one: the color drains away, the world jitters and skips, and something you'd rather not see comes looking for you.
XMT — the ego death
The deep end. XMT pulls you up through a tunnel into a dream high above the world, under a supernova sky shot through with god-rays, where colossal hallucinations drift past, before it finally lets you back down. While the light is at its brightest, nothing can touch you.
Take more while you're still under and the trip stretches on. And if it ever gets to be too much, there's a way to clear it all in an instant.
These are fictional, fantasy-flavored items and visual effects inside a Minecraft mod, with no relationship to real substances.
